I'll take free dedicated servers over paying for Peer to Peer. MAG has 8 person chat ingame. Actually 10 because you can talk to the platoon leader and OIC. What most online games on live don't even have 10 players per side let alone 128?
The only competition for GOW3 this year is GT5. It is going to be hard to choose which one is GOTY. Heaven forbid TLG is released. That will make the decision even harder.
Comparing Dante's inferno to Bayonetta or Darksiders is okay but comparing it to GOW 3 is like comparing a bicycle to a ferrari.
If the Sony presentation at E3 was just 10 minutes of in game footage in HD of GT5 followed by a release date, that would make E3 for me. No need for Socom 4, TLG or any of the other great titles that will be released. Just give us a fvcking release date.

Wrong. 360 may be like a PC but all PC's are not alike. A 360 is like a high end PC from 2003. You are trying to make people think the 360 is like a high end PC from 2010.
Microsoft doesn't get anything from other people making games for PC. There are no royalties for the PC platform. So let's go over this PC = 1 platform, xbox 360 = 1 platform now here comes the hard part Mass Effect is on PC and 360 so 1 + 1 = 2 platforms. Multiplatform means on more than 1 platform whereas exclusive is on 1 platform. Hope this helps clear things up for you.
Do any of you guys even go to these sites that aren't mentioning the 360 being inferior to the PS3? Most of them feature 360 ads especially when a big game is about to hit. It makes no sense for them to bite the hand that feeds them. There isn't a big conspiracy it is just a fact that these websites don't want to lose a major source of ad revenue. Dissing Microsoft would be a sure fire way of doing that.
Valve games are made for PC. So far this is the only game I am getting this christmas hopefully it isn't full price ($50).

@Rambler I have played VC and loved it even though I never thought I would. The fact that you want to argue about it just goes to show how much of a hybrid game it was. This is one of the great things about the game; it is it's own genre.
IGN don't rate sound quality. For example MAG with uncompressed THX certified sound got an 8 from them. They just say whether they liked what sounds the game made. They go for the subjective instead of the objective.
People are just looking for some consistency. They usually do a comparison and tell you which version is the better of the two. The belabored the fact that Bayonetta was inferior on the PS3 months ago and I guess some people want to see the same for this. It all comes down to consistency. No one is asking them to do something they haven't done before.
The problem with their reviews is they don't compare the graphics to other games. It's not like relative to GOW3 this game is an 8 in graphics. Rather what they do is assign a random number to the graphics. Unless you are comparing multiple things a scale is meaningless.
